Established in 2004 and first held in Springfield, MA, the New England AAU Super Regional was the first of its kind for AAU in the nation.

The tradition continues in 2018 as the NEAAU hosts its 15th annual Super Regional, but its first at the brand new recreation center located in Johnston, RI. The facility is located just a short distance from downtown Providence.
